Will I get fat taking carbohydrates post workout?

A hard training session sets off a number of hormonal responses in our bodies. The body's main focus at this time is repairing tissue damage and replacing the used up fuel stocks.
Taking in a high dose of simple carbs like dextrose or maltodextrin causes our pancreas to release insulin, speeding up the transportation of Amino acids(protein) into the trained muscles. Their also needed to replace glycogen and glucose stores that... have been used up.
At this post training stage storing fat is the body's lowest priority. Although taking in the same amount of carbohydrates without the prior training is a different matter.
